SPICE (Sun Prairians Invested in Children’s Education) a community-initiated elementary mentoring program.  Originally it began as a program of the Sun Prairie Rotary Club, the program is expanding to access and allow a broader cross section of the community to serve as mentors. 
 
Purpose:  To mentor & inspire 5th grade students who need encouragement or a little boost in order to reach their improvement GOALS by
 
  • Establishing a relationship
  • Spending regular time together (Usually, 45 min-one hour a week during lunch or other agreed upon time.)
  • Sharing life stories
  • Serving as an adult role model
  • Communicating with the student’s teacher
