Every year The Rotary Club of Sun Prairie plants two trees for Arbor Day honoring club members. The two members selected to receive the honor this year are Steve Riggles and Diana Konkle.
Rotarians! UPDATE...Our next Rotary Youth Exchange Student is a GIRL from Germany. Lara will attend Sun Prairie High School for 2017-18. She has one brother (age 18) and two step-brothers (ages 18-19). Lara likes photography, art, music, and acting. She is confident, social, and she likes helping others. She has taken 8 years of English and 4 years of Spanish. Lara is from Datteln, Germany.
Rose is looking for one volunteer driver to help transport RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) students to Wautoma, WI on Friday, May 19th. She will be departing early in the afternoon.

Congratulations to George Alexander, the 2017 winner of SP Rotary’s Hoops for Hope contest. With 1,835 points, George received the Berggren-Hebl traveling trophy and will have the opportunity to designate a charity for the over $400 raised by the event for the Sun Prairie Rotary Foundation.
Hoops for Hope is a Rotary fund raiser centered on the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. Each player pledges a penny for every point scored by six teams they choose before the tourney begins. Twenty-eight Rotarians participated this year.

Anne Oberle with the most points per game played (81.11)
Jon Landsverk (1,391) with the closest to the overall average score of 1,402.6 points
Josh Kindkepple was recognized has the high scorer on the second page
Deanna Popke and Judy Veith were recognized for coming in second place (1,762) with exactly the same picks.
One of the best ways to care for yourself is to take a look at who you are doing life with. Who celebrates when you celebrate? Whose heart breaks when your heart is hurting? What relationships bring you life? These people are precious. Hold onto them and love them well.
