The speaker was introduced by former Rotarian Richard Wright  this week and was Chad Fedler, VP of Prairie Development that is coordinating  Prairie Lakes development that includes Costco, Cabela's, Target and several smaller business including Wright Vision and Forever Yours Jewelry.  Chad gave a history of the development that started with the land being bought in the 90s and negotiations with Target.  Soon to follow were Marcus Theaters and Costco.  Both of these businesses have surpassed expectations with Costco revenue expected to exceed the Middleton store by next year and Marcus selling 50 thousand tickets in the first 32 days of opening. Chad's advice for success is to be selective and stick to your vision.  There is still space available and they would like to include apparel and possibly a sit down restaurant.  There are also plans to complete a lighted fountain and courtyard in the spring.
